The process starts with profiling a 416R stainless steel barrel blank and wrapping it with carbon fiber strands infused with epoxy resin. The result is a lightweight barrel with superior strength and improved heat dissipation. The reduced weight also improves the balance of this firearm in an 18-inch format, resulting in a lightweight, balanced rifle that is ready for anything. The Diamond Series DB15 lower receiver is machined from forged 7075 T-6 aluminum and features a flared magwell and enhanced integral skeletonized trigger guard. The Diamond Series is equipped with a CMC 2.5lb single-stage drop-in trigger, offering a clean, consistent break and lightning-fast reset for superior accuracy and rapid follow-up shots. This DB15 comes equipped out of the box with a Magpul PRS-LITE stock and MOE K2 grip for lightweight comfort, adjustability, and stability. Il DG15 .223 Wylde SEMI-AUTO RIFLE di DIAMONDBACK FIREARMS è progettato per offrire prestazioni superiori in un formato leggero e bilanciato. Grazie all'uso della fibra di carbonio, questo fucile è significativamente più leggero rispetto ai modelli in acciaio, mantenendo al contempo una resistenza e prestazioni comparabili a quelle di una canna in acciaio inossidabile tradizionale.
Il processo di costruzione inizia con la profilatura di un blank di canna in acciaio inossidabile 416R, avvolto con filamenti di fibra di carbonio infusi con resina epossidica.
